      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Code medical records and documents for both inpatient and outpatient services
      - Select appropriate diagnoses and procedure codes using Computer Assisted Coding/Encoder Software
      - Abstract information from electronic medical records for accurate coding
      - Address coding and abstracting edits to ensure complete and accurate coding
      - Maintain weekly volume logs and adhere to productivity and quality standards

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associate’s Degree in Health Information Management
      - Credentialed as a Registered Health Information Technician, Registered Health Information Administrator, or Certified Coding Specialist
      - Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required
      - Completion of a CAHIIM approved coding certificate program or equivalent education and experience
      - Demonstrated coding proficiency through completion of a coding test

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - 4-6 years of relevant experience in medical coding
      - Familiarity with computer-assisted coding and/or automated encoder systems
