      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Collect medical records according to tight timeframes and facilitate storage in secure repositories
      - Contact provider offices to request copies of medical records and coordinate efficient retrieval methods
      - Perform research and investigation to ensure successful record retrieval, troubleshooting issues as they arise
      - Travel to provider offices, medical facilities, or employer campus to obtain and prepare medical records
      - Communicate effectively with team members and external healthcare providers to meet project deadlines

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - 5 years of prior healthcare or health insurance experience
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools: Outlook, Excel, Word, Vision
      - Completion of all necessary access requirements and forms for record retrieval
      - Associates in health Information Technology or relevant experience in lieu of a degree
      - Strong verbal and written communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience and familiarity with medical records, medical terminology, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
      - Proficiency in navigating and retrieving clinical information from EMR/EHR systems
      - Working knowledge of HIPAA requirements and commitment to privacy and security
