What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Actively sell Merchant Services solutions to business and commercial clients, leveraging referrals and prospecting efforts
- Partner with operations teams to address complex inquiries and service client accounts
- Conduct ongoing training for merchants and associates on product usage and fraud deterrent processes
- Maintain knowledge of industry products, credit card processing methods, and competitor offerings to provide optimal solutions
- Mentor less experienced associates and participate in advanced prospecting activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Financial or Merchant Sales OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Financial or Merchant Sales
- Minimum of 4 years of merchant sales experience
- Ability to analyze merchant statements, pricing, hardware, and software to determine business needs
- Strong communication skills to explain complex solutions to clients
- Experience in banking or financial services is preferred
