What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of technologies such as SD-WAN, data center technologies, and AI infrastructure
- Actively participate in customer sales meetings and drive presentations of technical solutions
- Partner with procurement to generate quotes and translate design requirements into BOMs
- Build and nurture customer relationships while collaborating with sales counterparts
- Engage in 40%–50% domestic and international travel
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of pre-sales engineering or related experience
- Cisco CCNP, CCIE, JNCIE, or Arista L5 certifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of campus networking, SDx, datacenter & cloud, and security technologies
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve objectives
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience supporting global enterprise clients across multiple regions and time zones
- Familiarity with AI/ML workloads and networking performance in high-compute environments
- Exposure to hyperscaler environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud networking architectures
- Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform)
- Prior involvement in RFP/RFI processes and technical proposal development
