Job Description

Support the department manager in achieving divisional KPIs and objectives.
Responsible for delivering all production-based activities, such as customer owned returns, consignment returns, items for repair, and product inquiries.
Support with non-production-based activities, such as continuous improvement to increase efficiencies and reduce costs.
Responsible for supporting with all compliance, inventory, and quality-based activities.
Training new starters in all aspects of the role ensuring they carry out tasks safely and in line with our work instructions.
Responsible for supporting with troubleshooting and investigating any issues that arise to ensure our services are delivered.
Escalate any discrepancies or operational issues to the department manager if unable to utilise knowledge and processes to make an informed decision.
Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders at local and regional level.
Promote a safe working environment and champion quality, ensuring all activities are completed with 100% accuracy.
Drive engagement to align with the company’s culture.
Any other reasonable request in line with the operational needs of the business.
GCSE or higher
3+ years’ experience in a warehousing or similar environment

The Senior Operative will be predominantly located in our Returns department, which is part of the wider Logistics Operations team. They will support the company’s distribution activities to meet quality standards and exceed the customers expectation . The primary function of the Senior Operative is to process the return of materials from various sources within the United Kingdom. There will also be a requirement to support with non-production activities, such as inventory management and continuous improvement.
