      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review and analyze medical records for inpatient, outpatient, and professional services to assign appropriate diagnoses and procedure codes
      - Adhere to the Standards of Ethical Coding set forth by the American Health Information Management Association
      - Maintain compliance with official coding guidelines
      - Utilize coding classification systems such as ICD-10-CM and HCPCS/CPT effectively
      - Perform data entry with a focus on accuracy and efficiency

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Education: High school diploma
      - Prior coding experience in ICD-10 CM diagnoses/procedure coding and HCPCS/CPT procedure coding
      - Certifications: Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or Certified Interventional Radiology Cardiovascular Coder (CIRCC) (or to be completed within 6 months of employment)
      - High level of experience with MS-DRG's, APC's, MPFS/RVU's, POA's, and HAC's relevant to inpatient, outpatient, or professional services coding
      - Ability to meet physical demands, including frequent keyboard and mouse use for data entry

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - A.S. from an accredited Health Information Technology program or B.S. from an accredited Health Information Management program
      - Working knowledge of the 3M encoder and Epic
