What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements while coordinating contract issues under attorney supervision
- Manage the contract lifecycle, including execution, renewals, and amendments using contract management systems
- Conduct legal research and assist in the preparation of pricing documents for attorney review
- Organize and maintain electronic legal files for compliance and efficient retrieval
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information necessary for contract preparation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum of 3+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, with exposure to commercial contracts
- Paralegal designation (or actively pursuing one)
- Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management and legal terminology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong project and time management abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with modern document management software, including Adobe and DocuSign
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
