Join us as a Snr Patrolperson Operations HRD, where you will be responsible for the application of security procedures within an Anglo-American Platinum Operation.

Conduct operations to ensure that employees and assets are protected. Investigation support and emergency

protection duties will form part of the activities of this role.

Job Description

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct observation activities to support investigations (where applicable
• Effectively drive security vehicles
• Clean and inspect on equipment and firearms
• Conducts required drug and alcohol tests
• Audit the conformance to procedures
• Conducts dog handling activities (where applicable)
• Support PS HRD training and other training needs
• Conduct IDC for Lower level workforce
• Manage K53 mine license database
• Build Portfolio of Evidence
• Facilitate training to staff members

This role is in the Protection Services Department at a C1 Level reporting to Protection Services Senior HRD

Qualifications

You will need the following:

• Grade 12
• Handle and use a Shotgun, Handgun and Rifle for Business Purposes
• PSIRA Armed responses course
• Registered with the PSIRA grade B.
• Valid driver’s license
• Armored Vehicle driving course will be advantageous.
• Train the trainer qualification will be advantageous.
• OETDP qualification level 4

Experience required:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Security environment or equivalent

Knowledge and Skills

• Computer literacy
• No criminal record
• Polygraph testing
• Developing and Presenting training material
• Communications in English (spoken, written and reading)
• Writing of statements and opening of case dockets
• Handling of various emergency situations
• Good working relations
