What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive measurable growth by creating, adapting, and optimizing direct response copy across high-impact campaigns
- Adapt and iterate on proven copy frameworks for new partners, offers, placements, and channels
- Execute mechanical punch-ups and structured variations to enhance existing copy
- Develop offer-specific copy incorporating team feedback and compliance requirements
- Propose and test new creative ideas based on market research and performance trends
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience writing performance-driven, direct response copy for digital marketing campaigns in the financial industry
- Proven background in conversion rate optimization (CRO) with a history of optimizing creative across campaigns
- Proficiency in analyzing performance data using tools like Looker, Tableau, or Microsoft Power BI
- Strong conceptual writing skills with established research frameworks for identifying effective copy angles
- Familiarity with compliance standards and ability to engage with compliance stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Expertise in writing across various formats including listicles, landing pages, and video scripts
- Experience with financial products and services, such as credit cards, debt consolidation, and insurance
- Familiarity with using large language models (LLMs) for writing and creative processes
- Strong collaborative communication skills and openness to feedback from cross-functional teams
- Ability to deliver high-quality copy under tight deadlines
