What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Independently develop and communicate key state performance metrics, including rate indications and trends
- Create and enhance analytical tools using advanced actuarial methods and technical skills
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with various internal departments, including product management and data science
- Participate in countrywide projects and enhancements related to complex product features
- Work as part of a team to improve analytical capabilities, including data automation and quality measures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Property & Casualty insurance, with familiarity in Personal Lines products preferred
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Excel; knowledge of SQL, VBA, R, Python, SAS, or similar coding languages is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
