Conduct psychological assessments and/or tests for diagnostic purposes.
Neuropsychology formulation, assessment and recommendations
Develop an individualized treatment plan for each child and their families.

- Must have a bachelors degree in psychology, a graduate degree in psychology, and a Ph.D. or. Psy.D. in clinical or child psychology.
- Minimum of five years clinical experience working with children with neurological deficit.
- Candidates at post-doctoral level may be preferred.
- Must be approachable and empathic for children to be comfortable working with you.
- Must be knowledgeable of different therapeutic methods and be able to switch between different approaches to meet each childs needs.
- Excellent communication skills, specifically the ability to communicate with children of different ages and from different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Adhere to all professional, ethical, and legal regulations as determined by relevant regulatory bodies and the law.
- Willingness to attend team meetings, as well as seminars on topics relevant to our client base.

Hours - Full time 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, part time considered

Were looking for a Senior/Principal Neuro Psychologist to join our team at The Portland Hospital currently rated Good by the CQC.
Internationally renowned for clinical excellence, The Portland Hospital is the only independent hospital in the UK entirely dedicated to women and children. Our inpatient and outpatient specialties reflect this, providing clinical expertise in Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Women`s Health.Our Paediatric wards hold 56 inpatient beds + 11 day case and are equipped with the latest technology to provide advanced medical and surgical care, including a Paediatric Neurorehabilitation Unit and a Paediatric Intensive Care Unit which reflects the acuity and complex nature of the children who are admitted to our hospital. The Portland Hospital has a large number of international Paediatric patients, often funded by relevant embassies.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Child Psychologist with specialist experience of neuropsychological assessment or a Neuropsychologist to join our multidisciplinary therapy team. You will work with children with a wide range of neurodisabilities. Our current service is within inpatients however you will have the exciting opportunity to set up and be responsible for an outpatient service as part of the role
