      Senior Process Engineer - Full Time - Winterthur, Switzerland

      To support our strong activities in the chemical, petrochemical, and polymer markets, we are expanding our team in Winterthur, Switzerland. Within the Business Unit Separation Technology, our Process Design Mass Transfer Components group plays a key role in delivering cutting-edge solutions.

      Your main tasks and responsibilities:

      • Process design for separation columns and further key equipment (e. g. heat exchangers, pumps, valves, etc).
      • Execution of and participation in extended scope projects like Design Studies or Basic Engineering.
      • Development of technical concepts in cooperation with the clients.
      • Translate results from laboratory tests and measurements into an industrial unit design.
      • Close cooperation with sales personnel, application managers, project managers, mechanical engineers, and other specialists.
      • Sales support during the inquiry, offer and negotiation phase, especially for complex projects.
      • On-site support for start-up, optimization and troubleshooting of plants.

      To succeed in this role, you will need:

      • University degree in Chemical / Process Engineering, or closely related field.
      • Proven experience as a process engineer in the chemical or oil and gas sector.
      • Familiarity with state-of-the-art design tools (SimSci Pro/II, Aspen HTFS, HYSIS etc.).
      • Participated in the execution of engineering projects (FEED, Basic Engineering etc.).
      • Strong technical expertise, paired with interpersonal skills - enabling you to effectively drive solutions and cooperation with internal and external clients alike.
      • Fluent in English and German, additional languages such as French are welcome.
