      Job Description:
      As a Sr. Procurement Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving global procurement excellence by leading cross-functional programs and initiatives across multiple pillars. You will be responsible for delivering operational efficiency, sustainability, safety, risk management, diversity, and compliance objectives while aligning with Global Procurement Organization (GPO) priorities. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills to deliver measurable value and enhance procurement performance globally.

      Key job responsibilities
      Program Leadership & Continuous Improvement:

      - Lead global GPO goals and cross-functional programs to drive operational efficiency, sustainability, safety, risk, diversity, and compliance in alignment with GPO pillars.
      - Develop and implement strategic initiatives that deliver procurement value, including sourcing activities (25-30% of time).

      Reporting & Risk Management:

      - Establish robust reporting mechanisms to track project progress, performance, and business metrics for senior leadership.
      - Proactively identify risks, issues, and mitigation plans to ensure successful program delivery.

      Stakeholder Engagement & Escalation Management:

      - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Global Engineering Services and Global Procurement Organization.
      - Provide fast, responsive support to resolve escalations from senior leadership, owning issues end-to-end to drive resolution.

      Operational Excellence:

      - Enhance operational performance across all programs by collaborating closely with stakeholders and embedding best practices.
      - Establish clear business goals, success metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program impact.

      Team Development & Best Practices:

      - Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Category teams to ensure adoption of best practice processes, tools, and methodologies.
      - Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the procurement function.- 5+ years of program or project management experience
      - 5+ years of supply chain experience
      - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
      - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
      - Bachelor's degree- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
      - Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

      Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
