Senior Product Manager, Global Trade Management

Join us at Avathon as a Senior Product Manager to lead our next-generation software solutions for customs clearance and global trade management. This role involves defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap, with a focus on leveraging AI to enhance HTS classification, duty calculations, and compliance automation across international markets.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and driving the product vision for AI-powered customs and trade solutions.
• Creating a strategic product roadmap that balances innovation, customer needs, and compliance.
• Engaging with industry experts, customs agencies, and enterprise clients to shape product direction.
• Monitoring industry trends, including regulatory changes and AI advancements.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to promote adoption of AI-driven trade solutions.
• Leading customer discovery to understand pain points and validate solutions with key industry players.
• Working with engineering, AI/ML, and UX teams to translate vision into requirements.
• Partnering with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to drive adoption and educate the market.

Qualifications include:

• Deep experience in customs clearance, trade compliance, and global trade management solutions.
• Strong understanding of HTS classification, duty calculations, and trade regulations.
• 7+ years in product management, with a record of launching B2B SaaS or AI solutions.
• Experience in external-facing product strategy and customer engagement.
• Knowledge of Generative AI, machine learning, and automation in trade compliance is preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Additional details:

• Location: Bay Area or Austin, TX (onsite 4 days/week).
• Salary Range: $120,000 - $200,000, based on experience and location.
