What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Define and drive the end-to-end product strategy for high-resolution imagery, aligning with company priorities and customer needs
- Evolve product requirements for the newly released Pelican mission and ensure a smooth transition from SkySat
- Prioritize improvements in cadence, image quality, coverage, cost, and latency in support of company objectives
- Analyze usage patterns and customer feedback to iterate on service offerings for specific use cases
- Interface with various teams to drive delivery requirements for high-resolution missions and define success metrics
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 6+ years of product management experience in Earth Observation, geospatial, or related technical domains
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Excellent understanding of satellite imagery, remote sensing, or large-scale data products
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-informed decision-making approach
- Ability to effectively collaborate with engineering teams and meet customer needs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with high-resolution, tasked Earth Observation products
- Background in remote sensing science, image processing, or geospatial data analysis
- Experience building and scaling core data or imagery products for multiple market segments
- Familiarity with the realities of satellite or sensor constraints and operations teams
