  We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager to join Procore’s Product & Technology Team within our Documents Division. Procore software solutions aim to improve the lives of everyone in construction and the people within Product & Technology are the driving force behind our innovative, top-rated global platform.   In this role, you’ll own the capabilities, scalability, and performance of the file access system underpinning all of our document products. You’ll work closely with a local team of developers, as well as product and development leaders in the United States. You will be valued as a technical subject matter expert among business and engineering partners for your ability to maximize the value of your products and services through thoughtful, data-driven problem solving, crisp definition of MVP solutions, and cross-functional collaboration.

  This position reports into our Director, Product Management in India and will be based in our Bangalore, India office. You will work with development and design teams in multiple regions globally and will occasionally need to accommodate different time zones or work outside the standard 9 to 5 workday. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

  What you’ll do:

  • Lead individual feature efforts end to end (API, webhooks, security, performance, integrations, etc) and collaborate closely with engineering leads and architects
  • Identify and write product requirements and test cases by considering outcome potential, competitive landscape, technical requirements, and user experience
  • Work a with principal PM lead and assist with the justification of priorities, backlog grooming, and customer discovery
  • Become well-versed in the construction industry and its diverse challenges to guide and communicate the value you’re creating for internal teams and external partners and customers
  • Balance customer empathy with horizontal solution thinking—recognize platform approaches that solve multiple problems at once, creating strategic leverage for Procore
  • Effectively use qualitative and quantitative data analysis to help inform the decision-making process
  • Think beyond software for the whole solution by collaborating closely with customers and go-to-market teams

  What we’re looking for:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related discipline; or comparable work experience. Technical Certifications are a plus
  • 4+ years of Product Management experience at an enterprise SaaS software company
  • 2+ years managing APIs, integrations, platforms, and developer-facing solutions
  • Ability to thoroughly understand complex business and technical issues and influence decision making
  • Ability to gain deep understanding of the system architecture and design concepts behind complex, enterprise-class software solutions at high transaction volumes
  • Talent for designing future-proof solutions with an eye towards future use cases, scalability, and maintainability
  • Experience collaborating with and influencing cross-functional teams in an agile software development environment
  • Customer-centric approach and experience collaborating and conducting discovery with large enterprise companies
  • Ability to effectively communicate trade-offs for decisions through strong written and verbal skills
  • Strong analysis and synthesis skills, demonstrating the ability to break down problems into components structured into platform-first solutions
  • Strong listening skills; Product Management is equally about inquiring as it is advocating
