      Daikin Applied is seeking a Senior Product Manager. The Senior Product Manager will plan, organize, and control an assigned product line from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives by performing the following duties.       Location : Staunton, VA - Hybrid

      What you will do:

      • Lead, develop and recommend marketing objectives, including sales volume and profit forecasts
      • Advise management regarding technical issues and provide recommendations so that persons without specialized subject knowledge can act or make decisions
      • Direct market development, sales promotion, distribution and pricing policies
      • Analyze market trends and potential. Prepare sales forecasts for use in planning manufacturing operations and controlling inventories
      • Recommend modifications of assigned product or products
      • Maintain contacts with distribution centers and important customers to follow up promotion efforts
      • Maintains contact with the sales force to monitor trends and keep informed of sales force needs.
      • Develop methods for field testing merchandising programs to determine public acceptance. Evaluate the effectiveness of promotions and advertising programs, and recommend improvements or changes
      • Review complaints and suggestions relative to assigned product or products
      • Participate in the preparation of advertising programs for the assigned product or products and supervise market research. Develops and recommends new product concepts
      • Coordinate departmental activities with other departments, such as engineering and manufacturing, to ensure synergism of objectives

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
      • 6+ years of HVAC-related industry experience
      • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

      The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $113,800-$188,300 + 20% bonus in Virginia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
