      Basic Qualifications

      Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 10 years relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 8 years relevant experience to meet managerial expectations. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

      Responsibilities for this Position

      General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) has an immediate opening for a Senior Program Manager in Scottsdale, Arizona. The selected candidate’s primary focus will be in restricted radio and special communications efforts for tactical operators and intelligence community users. The Senior Program Manager will enhance his/her skill set by working with a talented and technically accomplished group of colleagues.       Responsibilities :

      • Identifies and supports advance concept efforts in support of Tactical and Electronic Warfare Communications business segment strategic plans and objectives
        • Interfaces with restricted radio customers to gain and maintain market specific knowledge and understanding of the program products use in the field
      • Works with business development team in activities related to the restricted radio programs including competitive analysis and pricing, product requirements, development of marketing materials, and analysis of market trends
        • Develops WBS and WBS dictionary as baseline for scope definition and effective integrated cost/schedule management of the restricted radio programs
        • Balances restricted radio programs plans, risks, and opportunities with executable strategies to meet technical requirements and budgets
      • Responsible for the profit and loss of restricted radio programs

      What you bring to the table:

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations
      • Substantial knowledge of products and technologies including current and potential applications
      • Ability to establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements
      • Ability to lead others in team building, conflict resolution, motivation, and leadership

      Salary Note

      This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

      Combined Salary Range

      USD $189,535.00 - USD $203,000.00 /Yr.
