As a Senior Programmer – Pega, you will work closely with other programming staff members and the IT delivery analysts to define, develop, and unit test software in support of corporate web applications. Your focus will be on the architecture and implementation of new applications and features, enhancements, maintenance updates, and the delivery of enterprise solutions.Responsibilities:
• Perform the following with very little instruction for projects of diverse scope:
• Experienced professional with full understanding of Pega coding concepts to create applications for new or existing projects.
• Experienced professional with full understanding of API and integration concepts.
• Document code in-line and within the ticketing platform to meet change management requirements.
• On the job experience with software design and solution architecture to meet business objectives and fit within the enterprise road map.Requirements:
• Education: Four Year Degree in programming is required. Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Experience Level: 5-7 years of programming experience is required.Job Skills and Knowledge:
• Seasoned, experienced professional with full understanding of testing methodology principles to check the quality, performance, and reliability of code before providing to the business for their testing and approval.
• Seasoned, experienced professional with full understanding of business processes, code analysis and troubleshooting skills. Exercises judgment to determine best approach for solving new requests, bugs, or modifications to existing applications and assists with guidance to other staff members.
