      The position
      As our new Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible to:

      • Set the direction of several project managers working primarily on utility projects on our Danish production sites.
      • Lead a team of several project managers and take a leading role in our flagship projects that aim to transform our energy infrastructure, and you will apply your experience to drive the project through design, tendering, execution and finally commissioning and hand-over.
      • Work across all our Danish production sites and with various disciplines such as energy symbiosis, district-energy networks, thermal storage, electrification and more.
      • Manage stakeholder expertise to navigate the different seniority levels in Novo Nordisk all the way from equipment owners, other project managers to senior management.

      Qualifications

      Preferably you hold a Master’s degree in engineering or similar with 5+ years of people management experience and can demonstrate solid results in developing our organisation. Furthermore, we expect you to have:

      • Leadership and project management experience and/or experience within energy design, energy infrastructure or utility installations is an advantage.
      • Great problem-solving skills with structured and skilled approach in navigating high complexity.
      • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and experience at all levels.
      • Ability to motivate yourself and your project team.
      • Fluency in spoken and written English, and Danish as a plus.


      As an individual with a can-do attitude, you work systematically, logically and proactively, and are self-driven, structured, robust and capable of handling a high-paced and complex work environment without losing oversight and motivation.

      In Corporate Facilities, with 250 employees, we enable Novo Nordisk to focus on the core business by delivering simple and agile solutions for infrastructure, workplaces, utilities, and facility services as well as a major building portfolio. We create tangible business results by partnering with all areas of the business and what we do impacts all Novo Nordisk’s employees in their workday.       The job is anchored in the team “Sustainable Utility Projects”, which is part of Corporate Facilities. We manage a large portfolio of sustainability projects at multiple impact and maturity levels, some spanning the entire organisation. We drive execution all the way from basic design to handover and work systematically and strategically to implement ‘Circular for Zero’ initiatives within the areas of energy supplies, utility installations and facility management in general. We collaborate across business areas of Novo Nordisk and with external partners including consultants and contractors.
