- Single accountable party for defining, planning, orchestrating, and delivering a given initiative
- Ensure end results are of the highest caliber with a clearly articulated scope and quantifiable business benefit
- Direct large-scale, complex projects often involving multiple internal and external constituents and matrix partners
- Accountable for one or more initiatives including business, operational, and IT deliverables
- Effectively manage and consult on client engagements, balancing directive with collaborative communication, and ensure products and services meet contractual requirements
- Facilitate working sessions with clients and stakeholders to plan initiatives, elicit specification and/or business processes, and guide clients to successful outcomes
- Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
- Directly manage all aspects of project delivery and work with matrixed partners to ensure successful project completion; ensuring that project objectives are achieved
- Rigorously manage scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed on time, cost, and quality parameters
- Proactively anticipate, identify, and manage risks and issues of projects
- Validate financial forecasts and provide on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures
- Serve as a point of contact in routinely briefing key stakeholders on different aspects of assigned initiatives
- Ensure all stakeholders are adequately consulted or engaged on key deliverables for their respective functional areas
- Represent the project and the Client Implementation Team in various project governance and inter-department forums
- Chair weekly core project team and periodic stakeholder meetings to review progress with key constituents
- Ensure projects adhere to PMO Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), developing and maintaining required artifacts
- Publish regular project status reports to ensure the project's overall direction and integrity
- Propose recommendations and adjustments to improve project delivery and the Client Implementation Team
- Effectively manage and prioritize your time to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Travel may be required for project-related client meetings and training
- Minimum of seven years' experience managing software development and/or IT technology projects, or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or engineering
- Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech or healthcare hub services industries
- Management consulting experience preferred
- PMP, CSM, PSM I/II certification(s) preferred
- Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity
- Demonstrated, applied experience establishing and delivering large-scale, complex projects
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to navigate a matrixed organization effectively
- Solid influencing skills
- Experience with stakeholder management
- Focused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure
- Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to identify and remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectives
- Exemplary core knowledge of and expertise in the use of project management methodologies, tools and processes including Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile Framework
- Preferred knowledge: Sound healthcare and technical project delivery acumen

- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Must be flexible on schedule and hours
- Moderate travel is expected (Up to 40% travel)

Job Title: Senior Project Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Project Manager (PM) role within the Client Implementation Team plays a critical role in ensuring effective delivery of projects for clients at CareMetx. The Senior PM is responsible for establishing and leading CareMetx, cross-functional, strategic initiatives from inception to completion. The Senior PM leads a variety of different types of projects including launching new products and services for clients, large-scale IT initiatives, operational efficiency improvements, process reengineering, and infrastructure upgrades and deployments.
