      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage complex research and technical assistance projects from proposal through completion
      - Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets aligned with organizational goals
      - Lead project team meetings and cultivate strong relationships with internal and external partners
      - Establish and enforce quality standards for all project outputs and conduct reviews of deliverables
      - Identify new project opportunities and support grant proposal development

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
      - Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in managing research projects
      - Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams
      - Familiarity with compliance and reporting tasks, including funder progress reporting
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Advanced degree in a relevant field
      - 4-8 years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, especially with public safety organizations
      - Experience working in a university setting and managing research-driven projects
      - Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
