What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Plan, execute, and manage construction projects from inception to completion
- Oversee and coordinate the work of Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Coordinators
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members
- Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to meet project goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry
- Proven ability to lead and manage project teams effectively
- Strong understanding of construction processes and project management methodologies
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience managing large-scale construction projects in an urban environment
- Relevant certifications such as PMP or equivalent
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations in New York City
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
