What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee project performance regarding scope, safety, quality, schedule, risk, and cost while ensuring client satisfaction
- Collaborate with internal partners to align departmental activities with organizational objectives
- Provide technical and business advice for project documentation and completion
- Manage project changes and risks while updating management and stakeholders regularly
- Direct the tendering, analysis, award, and administration of engineering and construction contracts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Completion of a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Pipelines, Construction, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience, with 5 years of project experience preferred
- Strong understanding of project management methods and techniques; PMP certification or equivalent is an asset
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills, including the ability to lead meetings and set expectations
- Valid driver’s license, verified through a motor vehicle check prior to hire
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in an engineering, construction, or project management role within the energy or infrastructure sector
- Proven ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including vendors and service providers
- Familiarity with regulatory and environmental standards related to project management
