What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee project management from inception to completion, including design, scheduling, and contract management
- Manage resources, timelines, and budgets for multiple complex public works projects
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including public agencies and contractors
- Prepare project presentations and documentation for council meetings and public inquiries
- Monitor project compliance with funding requirements and ensure proper documentation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of project management experience, including three years managing complex projects
- At least three years of experience in contract administration and/or public works project management
- Professional Civil Engineer (P.E.) registration in Washington State
- Valid Driver's License upon hire and ability to maintain insurability with the employer
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Successful grant writing experience
- PMP (Project Management Professional) and/or CM (Construction Management) Certification
