Senior Project Manager: Bureau Veritas North America, Inc. (Houston, TX) seeks Senior Project Manager responsible for the management of engineering project lifecycle, from project award to final completion. Manage renewable energy design and engineering project development, specifically management and construction of photovoltaic solar projects. Manage engineering project budgets, project schedules, scope of work, technical documents, and permit compliance. Manage and coordinate utility interconnection process for construction projects and related documentation needed for project interconnection and testing. Monitor job books for compliance with mandatory engineering and construction standards. Ensure project quality control and safe construction practices by conducting on-site inspections, as needed. Generate reports that keep project stakeholders informed of project activities and contractual requirements. Requires occasional travel around US to visit construction sites. May telecommute from anywhere in the US.
Requirements: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a closely-related field, and five (5) years of project management and/or construction management experience in renewable energy industry (wind, solar, battery storage, transmission), to include experience managing the construction of solar assets, and experience reviewing project costs, determining project feasibility, leading project design, construction, completion, and close-out.
