      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Lead project financing for multifamily housing development projects that benefit Saint Paul residents
      - Evaluate project proposals, underwrite loans, and negotiate terms for City assistance on various funding sources
      - Provide guidance on development strategies, policies, and logistics to team members
      - Collaborate with community organizations, government entities, elected officials, and developers on real estate projects
      - Utilize a variety of housing finance tools to produce, preserve, and protect housing in the city

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning, Economics, Finance, Real Estate, Marketing, Communications, Public Administration, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
      - Minimum of two years of experience as a Project Manager or four years of experience in a development project management area
      - A combination of education and experience totaling six years or more can be used to qualify
      - Experience evaluating financial and/or real estate data, including budgets and pro forma analysis
      - Understanding of equity principles in housing development work

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program, Tax Increment Financing (TIF), or Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC)
      - Familiarity with housing policy in the United States and its impact on racial equity
      - Previous work in project management related to complex industrial, commercial, housing, or real estate projects
