What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead multiple large-scale, complex design projects from initial concept to construction completion
- Coordinate all technical activities related to architectural projects, including directing the design team and approving design changes
- Maintain weekly status reports and communicate project progress with principals, managers, and production staff
- Track project budgets, billing, and coordinate invoicing with administration
- Mentor and guide subordinate colleagues to enhance their skills and ensure quality output
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 10-12 years' experience as a Project Manager at a commercial architectural firm
- Extensive experience in producing project budgets and schedules, as well as reviewing construction bids and contracts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, Procore, and Blue Beam preferred
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
