      Summary
      In this role, you will be responsible for recruitment of early careers talent. You will manage full-cycle recruiting efforts for intern and new graduate roles for a wide range of Oncor business units.

      Key Roles & Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned. Directly or through others, the incumbent will:

      • Meets with hiring managers to determine staffing requirements and ascertain/clarify job requirements.
      • Develops proactive recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels.
      • Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment initiatives and programs to attract early career talent.
      • Develops and utilizes multiple recruiting channels to generate qualified candidates, including:
      • Develops and maintains professional relationships with college, university and community college placement offices.
      • Utilize various job boards, social media and university partnerships to attract a diverse pool of early career candidates.
      • Directs the efforts of employment agencies and search firms; negotiates and controls employment related fees.
      • Schedules and attends career events at colleges and technical schools.
      • Establishes and maintains relationships with college and technical school centers of influence.
      • Effectively screens candidates to determine qualifications based on job requirements.
      • Effectively deliver the company’s employer value proposition to prospective candidates.
      • Ensures offer letters are issued to candidates who have been extended offers of employment and follow-up letters are issued to candidates who are not selected.
      • Provides advice, guidance, and training to hiring managers regarding recruiting, interviewing, screening, assessment and selection techniques, and ensures the interview process is facilitated and closed effectively.
      • Ensures all employment practices are in compliance with equal employment opportunity, affirmative action and employment laws.
      • Maintains records of applicants, offers, new hires, promotions, and transfers as required for reporting purposes.
      • Keeps abreast of current and evolving employment laws.
      • Keeps abreast of employment activities of competitors that could impact local recruiting efforts.

      Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

      • 5 years of related recruiting experience with 2 years being in a campus recruiting environment.
      • Good working knowledge of recruiting sources.
      • Proficiency searching professional candidate databases for qualified candidates.
      • Strong knowledge of employment laws.
      • Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with colleges and technical schools.
      • Strong experience with MS Office applications.
      • Experience with Applicant Tracking System and Candidate Relationship Management tools.
      • Communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external personnel, both verbally and in writing.
      • Read, comprehend, and interpret company policies and procedures, employment laws, and general business documents.
      • Effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals or groups.
      • Work and promote cooperation in a cross-functional or collaborative environment.
      • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
      • Frequent travel between company facilities, colleges and technical schools
