  Employer is seeking a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our global team of 160,000 employees who are dedicated to building a stronger, more sustainable future. In this role, you will interpret complex regulations, investigate and resolve compliance problems, and develop strategies for proactive advocacy.
  
  Key Responsibilities:
  
  Regulatory Compliance
  - Ensure that business activities comply with regulations and laws
  - Work with regulatory agencies to provide guidance and advice
  - Investigate and resolve complex compliance problems, questions or complaints
  
  Emerging Trends
  - Examine current regulations and assess and prioritize emerging trends in food and feed safety and quality
  - Determine the current and potential medium-term impacts
  
  Thought Leadership
  - Provide thought leadership in Regulatory and Scientific Affairs area in the region
  - Inform and advise leaders on regulatory issues and changes that could potentially affect the business or the company's freedom to operate
  
  Problem-Solving
  - Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision
  - Escalate only the most complex issues to appropriate staff
  
  Qualifications:
  
  Minimum Qualifications
  - Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Toxicology, Nutrition, Food Law, or related degree or equivalent experience
  - In-depth knowledge of food and food additives related regulatory affairs
  - Minimum of four years of related work experience
  
  Preferred Qualifications
  - Experienced in influencing senior stakeholders
  - Ability to make sense of complex, high quality, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
  - Ten or more years of related work experience
  
  Expected Salary: $95,000 - $115,000
  
  Additional Information:
  
  The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
