What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as Project Director or Principal Investigator on large-scale studies
- Supervise research activities including study design, data collection, and analysis
- Manage research budgets, contracts, and staff performance
- Lead proposals and grant applications with a focus on gender and health issues
- Increase scientific stature through publications and participation in professional meetings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Doctorate in public health, health services research, psychology, sociology, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of applied research experience in gender studies within healthcare or public health
- Demonstrated experience in conducting applied biobehavioral research and implementation science trials
- Proven ability to lead multi-stakeholder initiatives and partnerships
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Proven success in securing large contracts or grant funding from state or federal agencies
- Expertise in advanced mixed methods research
