Sydney Airport, Australia’s busiest airport and gateway to the world, seeks an experienced Senior Retail Marketing Manager to become a key member of our Corporate Affairs team. About the role:

As the Senior Retail Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and executing a comprehensive retail marketing strategy that that drives growth for Sydney Airport’s retail proposition. You will also be responsible for campaigns to enhance Sydney Airport’s brand, drive commercial outcomes, and enriches the passenger experience across our aeronautical, retail, property, and ground transport portfolios.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance the value of Sydney Airport's retail offerings, aligning with the airport's retail value propositions to maximise passenger engagement and drive sales for retailers.
• Collaborate with retail partners to create and execute joint marketing plans, using insights from data analysis to optimize campaigns and strategies in real-time, ensuring they effectively drive traffic and sales.
• Manage the marketing budget effectively, including the retail promotional fund, to ensure investments are justified and outcomes align with Sydney Airport's business objectives, demonstrating tangible returns on campaign investments.
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders within Sydney Airport and among retail partners, acting as the brand custodian to ensure consistency across all passenger, airline, and airport worker touchpoints.
• Lead a team focused on digital and retail marketing, overseeing the development and execution of both traditional and digital campaigns that drive revenue across the airport's commercial sectors, including aviation, ground transport, property, and retail.
• Work in partnership with the aviation business development team and industry partners to develop strategic marketing campaigns that support the growth of airline services and contribute to the overall profitability and appeal of Sydney Airport as a premier travel and retail destination.

Experience you’ll bring:

• A minimum of 5 years of strategic marketing experience, preferably in the aviation, transport, tourism, retail, or property sectors.
• Proven ability to manage significant marketing budgets and campaigns with a clear ROI.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a marketing team.
