What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Establish and grow account/end user relationships to ensure corporate and territory goals are met or exceeded
- Develop and manage territory business plans, including expenses and sample budgets
- Collaborate with the engineering and consulting community to promote and secure specifications
- Maintain a close working relationship with corporate functions, providing competitive feedback and support
- Develop and maintain local training programs for customers and end users on product applications and benefits
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience
- 4-7 years of prior sales experience, preferably in the electrical distribution channel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present effectively to diverse audiences
- Strong understanding of commercial, residential, data center, and industrial markets
- Proficient in Salesforce.com and other software for analysis and presentations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Demonstrated track record of successful contractor sales
- Knowledge of Digital Competence and its applications in the industry
- Familiarity with the LNCA journey map and Design Thinking methodologies
- Understanding of customer needs related to Mobile technology, security, and productivity
- Ability to add value through tools and processes for customers and contractors
