      Hourly base pay rate is $23.17 - $34.81/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

      Job Description

      Cox Business is searching for a resourceful and motivated sales support representative. The Inside Sales Sr Sales Support Specialist is a key role in partnering with Inside Sales Agents to ensure orders are accurate for successful fulfillment and installation. This role requires laser focus and attention to detail to ensure orders are done correctly and reach completion. This includes resolving order issues that are preventing Order Fulfillment from accepting orders for implementation. The Sr Sales Support Specialist will work with the sales team, internal boundary partners, and Cox Business clients to minimize delays in install and provide the best possible customer experience. The role will also support the fulfillment of complex product orders including but not limited to fiber transport, Managed WiFi, IP Centrex, and video. The Sr Sales Support Specialist may also assist Sales in other non-revenue generating tasks.

      PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS

      • Verify services and pricing and confirm appropriate customer paperwork is complete and accurate.
      • Complex orders – support order from post-contract signature to submission.
      • Assist in resolving Change Required of complex orders from Order Fulfillment to keep orders moving forward.
      • Correct issues with order documentation (verify contacts, forms, etc.) and upload missing documents into CB Force.
      • Serve as alternate point of contact for internal boundary partners pre-install for information regarding customer contact information, missing or updated required documentation, and to resolve order entry errors.
      • Provide remote national order support across regions and time zones, working to provide flex support across the Cox Business footprint.
      • Partner with Inside Sales Engineers to identify complex order serviceability including heat mapping and floor plans for Managed WiFi customers.

      This position can be located in any Cox Business market.

      REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

      Minimum

      • High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in a related field (i.e. customer or sales support) The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 3 years’ experience; or 7 years’ experience in a related field
      • Strong technical aptitude including CB Force, Optix, ICOMS, and Windows based applications
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills
      • Problem solving and analytical skills
      • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills
      • Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
      • Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision to accommodate the needs of the business

      Preferred

      • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
      • 3+ years in telecommunications
      • 3+ years of customer or sales support
