      In this role, you will manage and optimize our Salesforce environment to support the organization's business processes, data management, and engagement with stakeholders, including partner institutions, students, and staff. This position works closely with Custom Programs, Institutional Engagement, Academic Programs, Global Operations, Student Engagement and IT.

      In this position, your responsibilities would include:

      • Serve as the primary Salesforce administrator for IFSA's Salesforce instance, managing day-to-day platform operations, including user setup, profiles, roles, and security settings.
      • Implement Salesforce configurations and customizations, including workflows, validation rules, process automation, custom objects, and fields.
      • Manage data integrity, deduplication efforts, and data cleansing strategies to ensure accurate, reliable information.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design scalable Salesforce solutions to support marketing, recruitment, admissions, and alumni engagement.
      • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to provide actionable insights to leadership and various departments.
      • Stay current on Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices to provide guidance and recommendations for optimization and enhancement.
      • Train and support staff members in effectively using Salesforce tools, driving user adoption across departments.
      • Work with external consultants or Salesforce developers as necessary to implement advanced configurations or integrations with third-party applications.
      • Lead the evaluation and integration of additional Salesforce products or apps to enhance IFSA's CRM capabilities.
      • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations, including Global Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), as applicable to an educational institution.
      • Other duties and projects, as assigned


      Requirements, Work Experience and Education

      • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
      • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce administration, preferably in an education or nonprofit context.
      • Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) certification required; Advanced Administrator (ADM 301) certification preferred.


      • Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, platform functionality, and customization tools.
      • Experience in managing complex data models and large datasets in Salesforce.
      • Proven ability to design and implement Salesforce-based solutions that align with business goals.
      • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical language for non-technical stakeholders.
      • Experience with Salesforce integrations and Application Program Interfaces (API) is a plus.
      • Familiarity with higher education or study abroad industry processes and terminology is a bonus.
      • Experience in implementing Salesforce solutions for student recruitment, program management, or international relations.
      • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
      • Proactive in seeking out opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the Salesforce platform.
      • Existing work authorization and physically reside in USA
