- Lead configuration activities for Salesforce including user setup, permissions, security roles/controls, business process design, validation rules, custom objects, and page layouts. Ensure alignment with healthcare workflows, compliance requirements, and HIPAA standards.
Own the Salesforce enhancement roadmap and drive the introduction of new features, capabilities, and optimizations. Maintain system stability through release management and lifecycle maintenance.
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that provide visibility into outreach performance and program outcomes. Apply strong data governance principles to maintain data quality and integrity.
Collaborate with project managers and IT teams to plan releases, assess technical dependencies, and manage integrations with external systems. Partner with vendors as needed to support technical delivery.
Communicate upcoming platform changes and new features to stakeholders. Provide Tier-2 support for escalated issues and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security structure, and configuration capabilities.
Experience supporting healthcare operations, donor development, or nonprofit outreach programs preferred.
Proficient with Salesforce tools including Flows, Validation Rules, Reports/Dashboards, Permission Sets.
Ability to drive platform innovation and own long-term Salesforce roadmap strategy.
Strong analytical skills with ability to translate business needs into optimized system solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Knowledge of data governance, privacy compliance, and HIPAA requirements.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with integrations and data exchange (APIs, SFTP, ETL technologies).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
6+ years of Salesforce administration and configuration experience.
2+ years supporting healthcare, nonprofit, or fundraising-focused stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
Salesforce Certified Administrator or Advanced Administrator.
Experience with Salesforce integrations (APIs, Apex, SOQL), Salesforce Health Cloud, or Nonprofit Cloud.
Experience supporting Salesforce within healthcare development or nonprofit organizations.

This person will be ensuring optimal configuration, performance, and scalability to support healthcare development operations, outreach initiatives, and relationship management programs. This role partners with operational and technical leaders to translate complex business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions that enhance efficiency, data integrity, and user experience. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Salesforce administration, a proactive approach to platform improvements, and experience supporting systems in healthcare or nonprofit environments. This is a direct hire, remote opportunity.
