What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead sprint ceremonies and manage work with stakeholders to prioritize and monitor project activities
- Coach teams on Agile methodologies and facilitate continuous improvement practices
- Collaborate with design teams to define and prioritize release work and manage the product backlog
- Create reports and dashboards to provide insights on sprint activities for stakeholders
- Act as a servant leader, resolving impediments and ensuring effective communication within Scrum teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree and over 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting large government contracts
- Advanced hands-on experience leading multiple Scrum teams in IT software development
- Active SAFe Scrum Master certification, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification, or other advanced Scrum Master certification
- Advanced proficiency in JIRA and Confluence
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance and residency in the U.S. for at least three of the last five years
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) or related federal agencies
- Familiarity with transitioning organizations from Waterfall to Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of various Agile approaches such as SAFe, Scrum/LeSS, and Kanban
- Experience with software DevSecOps/DevOps processes and tools
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences
