What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Utilize Large Language Models to build applied AI applications with high accuracy rates
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop models/services that extract and surface insights from data
- Drive technical vision and leverage open-source technologies and cloud services to build an AI/ML platform
- Design and implement schemas, optimize queries, and manage database performance
- Build tooling to support model training, evaluation, inference serving, monitoring, and alerting
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years of relevant work experience in software development and AI applications
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python or Javascript
- Experience building commercial SaaS solutions and integrating with backend services and APIs
- Deep understanding of machine learning and AI technologies, including design, training, and implementation of models
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Hands-on experience with AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), including OpenAI and GPT models
- Experience building and maintaining scalable microservices
- Familiarity with AI observability tools, such as LangChain or LangGraph
- Experience with API design and accessing data from external sources
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions effectively
