What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Deliver critical features and improvements end-to-end, from DevOps and platform selection to UI tuning
- Design and build web application features independently as well as in collaboration with design and product teams
- Develop high-quality REST APIs using Python or other languages
- Manage DevOps tasks, including updating CI/CD pipelines and utilizing error monitoring tools
- Write unit tests and ensure designs are optimized for testability
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience in a high-velocity software development organization
- Proficiency in designing and building web application features end-to-end
- Experience with relational databases and application-style SQL
- Ability to write SQL by hand, including joins and aggregations
- Strong capability in writing unit tests and designing for testability
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Tailwind and React component systems like shadcn
- Familiarity with various programming languages for API development, such as TypeScript or Go
- Previous experience handling DevOps tasks effectively
