What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, build, and scale distributed systems for billing, pricing, and revenue processes
- Develop microservices and event-driven architectures with a focus on performance and reliability
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Tax teams to ensure compliance with financial requirements
- Implement automation and monitoring standards to enhance engineering quality
- Mentor peers and influence technical direction for Finance Tech systems
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong background in Go (Golang), Node.js, or TypeScript with hands-on experience in microservices and cloud-based architectures
- Proficiency in designing distributed systems and API-first solutions
- Knowledge of financial systems, billing workflows, and integration with ERP/billing platforms
- Familiarity with SOX compliance and secure development practices
- Demonstrated ownership of complex projects and experience mentoring others
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with cloud infrastructure tools like Terraform, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools to enhance development efficiency
- Strong collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
