What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders to enable business and team scalability
- Evolve and maintain the frontend build system, including bundlers, static analysis, and package management
- Develop and scale the frontend testing strategy, including unit, integration, and E2E testing
- Improve web performance and observability by setting SLOs and implementing monitoring and alerting
- Contribute to building Vanta’s engineering culture while working collaboratively with other engineers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience building and maintaining software services and infrastructure platforms
- Deep understanding of TypeScript and React
- Proficiency in writing and testing performant web client code
- Experience scaling platform systems
- Experience writing codemods and migration automations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience designing and operating monorepo build systems at scale (e.g., Bazel, nx, turbo)
- Experience contributing to native build tooling in Rust or Go
- Deep understanding of GraphQL tooling and infrastructure
