  What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  - Drive the technical strategy, architecture, and implementation of generative chat applications
  - Design and develop new features for Fetch's flagship generative AI product, FAST
  - Build evaluation frameworks to measure and enhance conversational quality and user experience
  - Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features
  - Scale and extend LLM-driven systems for consumer-scale usage
  
  What is Required (Qualifications):
  - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 1 year focused on generative chat applications
  - Proven experience building or scaling production systems utilizing LLMs
  - Strong background in distributed systems, APIs, data pipelines, or backend services
  - Experience optimizing conversational applications for low latency and high reliability
  - Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience in cross-functional partnerships
  
  How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  - Experience with classical NLP techniques such as sentiment analysis or translation
  - Familiarity with LLM agent frameworks and orchestration patterns
  - Experience fine-tuning LLMs for specific domain applications
  - Knowledge of retrieval systems and evaluation frameworks for conversational AI
  - Proven ability to influence technical direction and foster a culture of mentorship
