What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support and enhance existing software applications within the employer's product suite
- Collaborate effectively with senior developers, offshore teams, business owners, and project management
- Develop and maintain software applications in multiple programming languages
- Lead architecture and delivery for small to medium-sized features with guidance from senior team members
- Ensure code quality meets or exceeds established guidelines and delivers high unit test coverage
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years of experience in software development
- Expertise in at least one programming language and proficiency in two or more
- Understanding of Docker and ability to create Docker files
- Proficiency in using Git and project management tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with CI/CD methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
- Familiarity with dependency management and software versioning
- Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn new methodologies and tools in data analysis
