What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop production emails using a React-based component library, ensuring performance and cross-client compatibility
- Lead independent projects to build marketing platforms, including React component libraries and automation systems
- Architect scalable full-stack solutions across frontend and backend technologies for high-volume campaign delivery
- Design reusable frameworks and patterns that enhance developer productivity and enable self-service campaign creation
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team productivity through process improvements and automation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5–8+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with expert-level proficiency in React, Ruby, and SQL
- Proven experience architecting and building scalable marketing platforms or developer-facing systems
- Deep expertise in modern web technologies including React, Next.js, GraphQL, and REST APIs
- Strong proficiency with backend development using Ruby and databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Snowflake)
- Experience with HTML email development and understanding cross-client rendering challenges
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience building email rendering systems or marketing automation platforms
- Familiarity with marketing platforms (Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and templating languages for dynamic content
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and modern CI/CD workflows
- Experience with distributed systems architecture and workflow orchestration
- Proven ability to leverage AI tools for productivity improvements in development workflows
