What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, implement, and maintain state machines for lifecycle transitions and validations
- Architect and manage transactional state stores to serve as the single source of truth
- Employ the outbox pattern to ensure atomicity of state updates and event publication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end reliability of systems
- Utilize AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity and maintain system integrity
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in backend or platform engineering
- Proven expertise in state machine modeling and lifecycle management
- Strong understanding of idempotent API and workflow design
- Proficiency in contemporary programming languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Go, Python)
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools for productivity and code quality
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with outbox, transactional messaging, or event sourcing patterns
- Experience in low-latency, high-throughput architectures
- Operational experience in systems requiring strict auditability and correctness
- Background in regulated or mission-critical domains
