What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain user-facing public web applications and internal tools to enhance client readiness for homeownership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate ideas and needs into functional software solutions
- Write clean, reliable code using technologies such as Python, React, and Postgres
- Engage in greenfield development while also integrating with existing systems
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in relevant software engineering projects
- Strong familiarity with Python, React (or a similar frontend framework), and Postgres (or a similar relational database)
- Proven ability to write clean, reliable code across various platforms
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and ideation skills with cross-functional teams
- A passion for improving financial lives and facilitating homeownership
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with additional technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS
- Previous involvement in entrepreneurial projects or startups
- Demonstrated adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies and frameworks
