What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and scale an AI Agent platform capable of handling hundreds of thousands of concurrent customer conversations per month with high reliability and low latency
- Design, develop, and maintain services and APIs that power real-time, multi-turn conversational agents
- Drive the full lifecycle of software development, from architecture and implementation to deployment and ongoing reliability
- Prototype quickly and optimize for scale and customer experience based on real-world interaction data
- Implement observability, monitoring, and operational best practices to ensure reliability in production
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with at least one modern language such as Go, Python, or Elixir
- Proven experience designing and maintaining large-scale, distributed, or high-throughput conversational systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to break down complex issues into clear, iterative solutions
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams
- A willingness to work across the entire stack, from infrastructure to APIs to user-facing components
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design of large-scale platforms or high-throughput systems
- Experience with Machine Learning Operations (MLOps), Large Language Models (LLMs), or Natural Language Processing (NLP) toolkits
- A track record of building reliable, production-grade services at scale
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and operational excellence (Kubernetes, monitoring, alerting, incident response)
- Strong written communication skills for documenting designs, decisions, and operational playbooks
