- Lead or collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop new securitization products, improve existing products and operationalize product design.
- Research, develop and implement various models on structuring, cashflows and pricing in support of securitization products.
- Lead or participate in the development of policies and analytics to manage and monitor risks associated with CMHC's securitization products.
- Monitor the regulatory development and the performance of CMHC's securitization products in the market, including secondary trading,, proactively identifying program improvement opportunities
- Provide strategic advice to support Canadian government’s public policy decisions regarding mortgage funding.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the mortgage funding market.
- Undergraduate degree in business, economics or finance.
- Minimum of seven years of relevant working experience with increasing responsibilities, preferably in mortgage securitization.
- Knowledge of CMHC's mandate, activities and regulatory environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge with Mortgage-Backed Securities, Asset-Backed Securities, and other fixed income securities structuring and pricing.
- Demonstrated experience in researching, developing and implementing creative financial structures and models.
- Highly developed negotiation and project management skills as well as relationship-building skills.
- Ability to communicate complex information to a non-technical audience to support strategic decision making.

About the role :
Join the Risk Management , Strategy & Products team, in Commercial Solutions, where our partners view CMHC as the catalyst for solving housing affordability challenges. Your skills and passion will develop enhancements to CMHC securitization programs to support the program mandate while managing taxpayer risk exposures, and designs program enhancements to foster well-functioning National Housing Act Mortgage-Backed Securities (NHA MBS) and Canada Mortgage Bonds (CMB) markets.
