What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare, review, and negotiate outgoing sub-agreements while ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal frameworks
- Provide expert advice and training to faculty and administrators related to research administration processes and policies
- Assist in SUBSystem configurations, enhancements, and testing while tracking issues with IT
- Manage FFATA reporting and assist with Small Business Subcontracting Plans (SBSP) reporting
- Perform special projects and other tasks as assigned by the manager
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Research Administration
- Ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance rules affecting sponsored research agreements
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills for reviewing sponsored research awards
- Effective communication skills for training and advising faculty and administrators

- Experience with accounting processes and computerized accounting systems
- Skills in analytical thinking, deadline management, and prioritization
- Proficiency in written and oral communication
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment
