- 7+ years of experience, with 3-5 years of experience working in the space of climate change, environment, and sustainability preferably with reputed consulting firms, financial services institutions, or research firms
- Knowledge and experience in preparing sustainability reports and strategies, such as undertaking materiality assessments, peer benchmarking, stakeholder engagement activities and preparation of internal and external reporting with focus on ESG risk reporting frameworks (e.g., CSRD, ISSB, SASB, GRI, TCFD, UN PRI, SFDR)
- Strong technical knowledge in the domain of Climate Change, Decarbonization Strategy and ESG
- Sound understanding of sustainability issues across various industry sectors, with special focus on Financial Market Participants
- Ability to demystify and apply upcoming ESG concepts, regulations, and methodologies
- Hands-on and practical experience in carbon footprint analysis, GHG assessment, climate risk and ESG advisory
- Robust knowledge of existing regulatory requirements for ESG risks, guidelines and recommendations applicable to different types of firms and business models
- Excellent client management and project management skills
- Proficiency in leading teams and managing others, and supporting/mentoring team members
- Relevant master’s degree (example: environmental science, engineering, economics, quantitative finance, or an MBA with a sustainability focus) is highly desirable
- Working closely with the Business Consulting leadership team to identify and contact potential clients for new engagements
- Build relationship with ongoing clients to ensure business continuity
- Responsible for high quality project delivery to ensure client satisfaction
- Engagement management throughout lifecycle of the project to deliver within budget and timelines.
- Develop innovative service offerings in the ESG consulting space
- Undertake capability building based on key ESG trends, development of in-house tools and accelerators
- Strong focus on operational excellence, efficiency, and cost
- Develop and grow this new business practise by being connected, responsive and insightful internally and with clients.
